Last week was a Book of Mormon pageant held in Chuuk.  Previously, the Book of Mormon was translated only in selections.  The Book of Mormon is now translated completely in Chuukese and so the mission held a celebration.  There were activities and a pageant.  The celebration was to be held mostly outdoors.  The weather forecast was for 100% chance of rain and wind.  There were people coming from other islands by boat.  President Zarbock asked the missionaries to pray and some were fasting to ask for the weather to be good for the celebration.  That day, before the celebration was about to begin, there was a rainstorm.  It was just enough to cool the ground and there was no more storm through the next day.  Here are just a few pictures of the pageant.

The mission has been holding a 40 day fast.  I'm not sure what the purpose of it was but all the missionaries but the senior couples were assigned a day to fast during that 40 day time.  The missionaries were asked to fast on their assigned day but the senior couples were asked to fast Wed., Thurs. of Fri. before the pageant.  Missionaries were seen grouping together and praying.  God does answer prayers.
