Last year and this year the missionaries all got invited to go to the USO and help clean up. Because of our service we were all provided with a Thanksgiving dinner. They appreciate the missionaries help because we are able to get cleaned up as much as 3 hours sooner than they used to. Many hands make light work. Thanks to all the church service experience we have all had we know how to pitch in and get the job done. It's a win, win situation.

We welcomed Elder and Sister Christenson, from California, to Guam. They will be training for the next six weeks as the office couple. It is a hard time for us to face the fact that our time for service in the Micronesia Guam Mission is drawing to a close. We will certainly feel an empty spot in our hearts.

We hiked up a trail at Asan beach. It was a beautiful view.
Micronesia Guam Mission maintains two bus stops on Guam. Unfortunately there are those that feel inclined to put graffiti on them.
We took a turn painting over the graffiti and sprucing up the faded paint.
Here are some of the beauties of nature found in the waters around Guam.
These were taken from an underwater viewpoint called "Fisheye'
We got new desks in the office and I wanted to take a picture of Elder Hamilton's desk while it was still clean.
It is a common thing to see zone pictures of the sisters posing for pictures. Some of the guys thought they would also pose. I say, leave it to the sisters.
Love to see more people join the fold of Christ.
Don't smile Elder Peles. |
