I don't know why but I have had a hard time wanting to post lately.  We have gone through a lot of great times on this mission.  I know that we were called here for all we could learn from our Heavenly Father and from these special people.  They are truly the most kind and genuine people we have ever met.

I have no idea what the Lord has for us in the future but the experiences we have had here have been things that we will treasure forever.  Our association with such great people.  Our experience here as office couple has given us the opportunity to work with the Asia North Area, the Great people on Guam and also many from each of the islands in the Micronesia Guam Mission.  We have had the privilege of working directly with President and Sister Zarbock, and no finer people can be found.  They are so loving and giving to all of us.  Especially, it has been our blessing to meet every missionary serving here in the Micronesia Guam Mission at this time.  We love everyone of them and will certainly miss them.

We have started training Elder and Sister Christenson, from California to be the new office couple.  They will be great and I know life will just move on.  The next month we will treasure every moment.

I truly miss all the family and look forward to seeing everyone of them and spending time with them.  We have a lot of catching up to do.  That was one of the hardest things to consider when we made our decision to serve.  We have been given blessings concerning our family that make all the time apart worth it.  Because of that the time away will be so very worth everything in the eternal scheme of things.  We truly want to be a family together forever in the Celestial kingdom.

As Sister Whiting told me, concerning the service and time away from home and the blessings because of the service, "sign me up."

I hope we can continue to create the feelings that we feel as full-time missionaries after we return home.  We know what we need to do, but will we?

May I just say to anyone that is questioning whether to serve a mission, both young or not as young,  that the Lord needs his forces to increase and move forward.  Don't hesitate.  It will not be easy to decide or to get ready or to serve but it is worth it all.  We have seen first hand how much senior couples are needed here in the isles of the sea.  I am sure they are needed everywhere just as much.  Just do it.

Please enjoy the pictures below of the ward and island beauty and the missionaries.

A couple of pictures of the beautiful sunset.

Our last Guam Zone Conference.  It has been hard to think that we are at this point in our mission.

Missionaries bear their testimonies at the last zone conference they will attend.
It is heartbreaking that we made the list this time.  It is also an honor to be among this fine group.
