We were invited to tour a naval hospital ship that was in port for just one day. The chaplain on the ship is a member of the church so he invited the missionaries to take a tour. Only the senior missionaries were allowed to go because so many of the younger missionaries were in trouble. We didn't learn why but some had their cars taken away. The equipment used is state of the art and pretty much the same as what is used on land. It is an old oil barge converted. The ship had been on a humanitarian mission. There had been volunteer medical personnel aboard that got off and flew back home from Guam. The full time military was pretty all that was left to go back to Hawaii. They performed surgeries and did dental work and other things. It was very interesting.
